The name Renè comes from the origins of the business owner, Renato Baeli. The child of emigrants, he was born in Switzerland, and his education and experience have been positively influenced by French-speaking culture. What was once only a nickname has now become a true brand, widely present and known throughout the area. Renè's reception with the most guests was held in 2007 for the Sciammiadi reunion; there is also a record at the opposite end: on a couple of occasions, Renè created romantic dinners for two, with all attention devoted to couples seeking an exceptionally exclusive, refined, unforgettable event with great visual impact and atmosphere.

Renè organized a complete catering service, attended to in every detail, as far as 1,591 km from home, precisely in the city of Montreaux, Switzerland.
